Sylvie Bourdeau works the clay with care and delicacy. Her main inspiration lies in the animal world, particularly the marine world, which dominates her creations.
Her distinctive style is based on the delicate technique of raku, a Japanese ceramic art form involving rapid firing at high temperatures. Each work highlights the importance of marine life in our ecosystem.
