Self-taught painter, Virginie has always loved creating, tinkering, an inexhaustible source of ideas ... In 2001, she painted her first canvas and discovered the loophole presented by this artistic activity. For several years, painting offered her the opportunity to refocus on herself, like an exchange with herself in complete privacy. It was not until fifteen years later, after a long pause in production, that she realized the expressive dimension of her work, when she decided to share it. Painting becomes a means of expression: intended for others, it carries a message. Her completed work leaves room for a feeling of lightness: she has not just deposited various colors on it but confides in it an emotion, a joy, an anguish. His choice in terms of medium stopped on acrylic. It fully meets his expectations and satisfies his range of techniques. The possibility of using it more or less diluted allows him to adapt it to his various tools of predilection. These tools are essentially from her close entourage, everyday objects to which she attributes a new purpose: dishes, placemats, straws, plasticine pads ... Her reflection takes place either by imagining how she will hijack an object, or by looking for the object that will help her build the work she imagines. Painting and creating bring him the pleasure of the present moment, a certain appeasement and the excitement of the next day because each new work announces the next.
