Born in 1955 in Nice, Alain Bellino is a French sculptor.
Alain Bellino grew up in an artistic environment, as his father has a bronze and goldsmith studio, therefore Bellino discovered the world of metal and ornamentation. During several years, the artist improved her technique in the area of rehabilitation and reconstruction of objects. At the end of the 2000's, he got involved in a new but a more artistic approach.
Ornament remains at the heart of his research. Bronze is his favorite material and he assembles various ornamentation through accurate welding. To create his work, Alain Bellino draws inspiration from the Rennaissance era, especially the theme of vanity, belonging to classic decors.
Alain Bellino's work has put down roots in the past, but has a futuristic look. The artist magnifies and restores ornamentation.
