Biography

After studying at the School of Fine Arts in Rouen, Corinne continued her artistic training as a self-taught artist. She sees art in the heart of the city as an element of sharing, visible to all, without distinction.

For sculpture, Corinne first draws her inspiration from nature and raw material. She takes the time to contemplate and listen and we find in her work this serenity, this quiet strength that emanates from her person.

The idea is the strongest, the material must follow, but it has its limits, and this empirical search for assembly and balance, brings it to another dimension, more human this time. The work then finds its ultimate finality when it moves the viewer, when it finds its place of life.

On paper, it's luminous and full of delicacy. The rough contours of certain profiles contrast with the softness of the colors. We will love the shadows, the looks and the silhouettes so that everyone can recognize themselves.

Corinne has traveled a lot and her career is built geographically.

His quasi-anthropological approach is interested in the cultural nuances of the countries visited.

Dividing her life between the Basque Country and Australia, she is regularly present in exhibitions in the southern hemisphere with outdoor sculptures that can breathe, inspiring an audience able to see that inner smile that shines through her creations.
