Solene Tartivelle

As an artist, I capture my emotions in bold marks and vibrant colors to create landscapes leaning towards abstraction, where the human presence is sometimes hinted at. 

My paintings are an invitation to meditate and to dream, a surge of joy and vitality. To create this magical, imaginary world, I start with experimenting with different mediums (inks, soft pastels etc…), mostly on archival paper. 

I research balance between the fluidity of lines and the richness of colors. The finishing touches are bold, energetic strokes, letting the purity of the pigments radiate. 

After several years in the United States, I am now back in Europe, living between Paris and Berlin.
