Biography

Harold Wolff is a German painter, born in 1950 in Berlin.

He studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Berlin and improved his technique through several internships in Italy and Croatia. He currently lives and works between Paris and Berlin.

Harold's paintings are unique and original, he creates a world with a tense and poetic atmosphere. The spectator is always struck not only by their overall look, with bright and bold colors but also by the gestural approach, not to mention the symbolic and solid composition.

Harald Wolff works the content in its entirety and pays a lot of attention to detail, his figures are sometimes hardly visible and at other times highlighted. Everything is about hints. His work is a window to his imagination, a mix of anecdote and fascination.

Harald Wolff's work has been displayed in several public and private European institutions, making him very successful.
