Luca Faraci

Luca Faraci was born in S Agata Militello on 21/04/1980, lives and works in Alcara li Fusi in the province of Messina. He graduated from the State Art Institute of Capo d'Orlando.

When I first saw his works, I immediately imagined which directions could take such a free creativity. I thought I would approach it to several conceptual, symbolist, or astrattistic masters, but then I became more and more convinced that Faraci did not have inspirational artistic painters or currents. There is clearly a creative and artistic path that tends to total perfection.

An imaginary narrative of various stories, he says peasantry, which denotes a modern taste as well as certain on the choices of colors and shades, I dare say, there are in his works encapsulated experiences, tales and cultures so precious from which to come to narrative targets who knows how much more.

I see Luca Faraci dive instinctively in all his work to translate his ideas into a universal vision in a chromatic way, since a wider public is able to achieve those great values that are solidarity, peace, love and the job.

In fact, as he likes to repeat the artist, painting is the universal language of excellence, and with it I express my personal way of seeing the rhythms of the daily life. Spatula shots, like scratches on the canvas, tell how many sacrifices, how much effort or how many lacerations pass through the man so that it reaches the serenity of the soul.

In his dark or colorful backgrounds, these characters emerge to invade, upset and impress the viewer as to how the life of every living being is contorted and contradictory.

This exposition, I can admit, takes back moments and rhythms that seem to emphasize the intensity of the flow of time, thus becoming the film of life, having set various testimonies to support its own story.
