Carlo Nason

Born in Murano in 1935, Carlo Nason comes from one the oldest families of Murano glassmakers. He has always shown an attitude for innovative planning and intuits in advance that a subject like the Murano glass, full of history and tradition, could be a formidable vehicle for design expressions.

An extraordinarily expressive talent fed by a continuous "inner struggle", the constant search for improvement while accepting with humility his own limits imposed first of all by "design" itself which as such is not an artistic expression and the market must consecrate it.

In the course of his career, Carlo Nason has worked with various companies related to the world of glass.
