Daniel Storz

Photographer Daniel Storz was born in Brussels in 1948. Introduced into the operation of a laboratory by saxophonist Roger Asselberghs in 1964, he joined the Institute of Radio Cinema (INRACI). He founded the Duplimedia laboratory then APP Photolab for retouching photographic prints. The daily life that he transcribes in images is realistic but also moving and intimate. He travels to major cities in Europe to capture the street scenes. At the same time, he is moving towards a less realistic content but more centered on the subject in his series “Outre Atlantide” the use of the negative and the saturation of the colors dress hardly identifiable subjects.
