Description
Jellyfish, like other stingrays (lat. Cnidaria), are among the oldest creatures on the planet: they are older than dinosaurs and trees. Their population is not threatened by anything, on the contrary, the number of jellyfish around the world is increasing rapidly. They have proven to be the few species that have benefited from climate change. The warming of the oceans has led to an increase in suitable habitat for them.
The advance of jellyfish around the world has many other negative consequences. Off the west coast of Ireland, salmon farms are losing hundreds of thousands of fish bitten by tropical jellyfish. In addition, power plants in Sweden, Israel, the U.S., Japan and other countries are running out of steam: huge numbers of jellyfish are increasingly entering the power grid.
In Japan, jellyfish are called the second danger after earthquakes. There is a giant representative of jellyfish, Nemopilema nomurai, which can reach two meters in size and weigh 200 kilograms.
This abstract diptych is created in fluid art using acrylic paints.
Diptych, set of 2 paintings, each painting is 40*40*1.6 cm(unframed). The price is for the 2 paintings together.

Presentation
Irina Safronova, aka Palirina, is a mixed media, collage and abstract Belarusian artist who was born and lives in Minsk. Irina is a professional stylist and environmentalist, which strongly influences her artistic work.
Irina's resume includes 20 international and national exhibitions and 3 awards with prizes in competitions. There are publications of her projects both in glossy magazines and online magazines and art catalogs.
My art is based on three pillars: fashion, eco-friendliness, and charity.
As a professional aesthetic stylist, I strive for beauty and harmony in my paintings, transferring my emotions and fundamental stylistic knowledge onto canvas.
As an environmentalist, I strive to minimize paint waste, using so-called waste-free technology. I also use cotton canvases and eco-friendly materials. I give a second life to used materials in mixed media paintings.
Charity, in my opinion, is very important for the artist, because his art stops being selfish and goes for good. I participate in charity programs to help sick children and contribute to the development of creative projects.
