Description
In the treasury of world symbolism, birds often serve as guardians of prosperity and guarantors of the correctness of various sacred rituals.
According to Hindu tradition, birds are the personification of the highest level of being, the invisible emanation of the soul.
Birds represent the love of the Gods, who sent humanity the elixir of immortality, “soma."
In the Upanishads, birds sit on the cosmic tree one eats, while the other watches over it as a symbol of the individual soul and the soul of the Universe.
Presentation
Ukrainian artist working under the pseudonym AreiRa. Born in 1988 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Graduated from the Kharkiv Academic Art Lyceum and studied Interior Design at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Since 2023, she has been actively engaged in painting, working primarily with acrylic and watercolor.
Her artistic practice combines figurative and mythological imagery, exploring themes of inner transformation, spiritual resilience, and the search for harmony. She draws inspiration from sacred symbolism, architectural heritage, and the cultural codes of ancient civilizations, creating compositions rich in subtle metaphors and emotional depth.
For AreiRa, painting is a form of meditative practice, where the material and the symbolic intertwine to open new inner dimensions. Her works have been exhibited in Ukraine and abroad. The artist's practice evolves through a dialogue with philosophy and the visual language of global cultural heritage.
Her works are aesthetic and spiritual focal points that harmonize space and open an inner silence.
