This textured oil painting is a celebration of Armenian identity, heritage, and timeless beauty. At its heart is the serene face of a woman, her eyes gently closed in a state of peace and reflection, framed by a traditional headdress rich with color and texture. Above her, the iconic “We Are Our Mountains" monument (Tatik-Papik) emerges in earthy tones, symbolizing strength, endurance, and deep cultural roots.
Surrounded by vibrant bursts of red, orange, blue, and gold, the composition bridges the intimate and the monumental—honoring both personal grace and collective heritage. The palette knife technique adds sculptural depth, making every surface glow with life and symbolism.
