Description
The title of my work refers to the "Salve Regina," a sung or recited text in homage to the Virgin Mary. This contemporary composition is directly linked to Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, which dominated the news in 2019. I wanted light to burst forth again after difficult and dark times, radiating its full power forward. The dark area is entirely modulated from top to bottom, achieved through numerous patient layers of oil paint (black is not part of my palette). This painting, with its powerful presence and universal strength, will be a source of both renewal and comfort in your daily life.
Presentation
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his work. His exploration of color and synthesis has naturally led him to contemporary landscape painting, while maintaining a high standard of quality in his creations. His series are resolutely abstract, where contemplation and aesthetics take center stage. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he crafts creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
