Description
Korf 27
Oil painting Field In The Fog Natalia Korf-Ivaniuk is a captivating atmospheric landscape that immerses the viewer in a quiet, dreamlike moment at dusk. A winding path leads through a mist-covered field toward a distant horizon, where soft silhouettes dissolve into a glowing sky of deep violets and warm pinks. The composition evokes a sense of solitude, transition, and poetic stillness. The artist's mastery is evident in her refined control of color and texture. Layered oil techniques, delicate glazing, and expressive brushstrokes create depth and luminosity, while subtle tonal shifts convey the movement of fog and fading light. Korf-Ivaniuk skillfully balances abstraction with landscape elements, allowing emotion and atmosphere to guide the viewer's perception. This original artwork exemplifies contemporary impressionistic painting with a strong emotional core. Ideal for collectors, it brings elegance, mood, and a sophisticated visual accent to any interior space.
Presentation
Natalia Korf-Ivanyuk (b. 1985, Kremenchuk, Ukraine) is a contemporary Ukrainian artist whose work blends ethnic symbolism, poetic abstraction, and refined painterly expression. After graduating from Poltava National Yuri Kondratyuk University, she remained there as a lecturer in the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts. Since 2010, she has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and an active participant in exhibitions, plein airs, and international art projects.
Working in oil, mixed media, and graphic techniques, Korf-Ivanyuk creates visually striking compositions inspired by Ukrainian cultural heritage, nature, and the connection between past and present. Her paintings often feature abstracted botanical forms that transform into symbolic, almost living entities. Through luminous color fields, elegant lines, and layered textures, she builds harmonious compositions filled with movement and emotional depth.
Her artistic language is distinguished by a balance between decorative sophistication and philosophical content. Simple motifs evolve into metaphorical images that evoke memory, identity, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. This distinctive style, combined with refined color relationships and a strong sense of composition, makes her work instantly recognizable.
Korf-Ivanyuk has participated in numerous exhibitions across Ukraine and Europe and is regularly represented in galleries and curated art projects. Her works are held in museum and private collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ukraine, and are increasingly sought after by collectors for their originality, cultural resonance, and contemporary aesthetic.
