Oceanic Geometry: Tidal Axis set diptych (each canvas 140x80cm), 2026

Oceanic Geometry is a contemporary abstract diptych exploring structure, reflection, and atmospheric movement through layered texture and a refined neutral palette.

Created in acrylic on canvas, the two paintings were developed through multiple textured applications using palette knife, expressive brush techniques, scraping methods, and spontaneous linear gestures. Shades of pale blue, soft gray, ivory, white, taupe, charcoal, black, earthy brown, and warm ochre create contrast, rhythm, and visual depth while maintaining a sophisticated contemporary atmosphere.

The vertical compositions interact as a unified statement piece where intersecting forms and layered passages create architectural tension softened by luminous open space. Pale blue and ivory tones introduce lightness and airiness, while charcoal and black elements create strength and grounding. Warm ochre accents add subtle warmth and atmospheric contrast across both canvases.

Layered textures, expressive marks, scraped passages, painterly transitions, and fine linear details preserve the spontaneity of the creative process while adding material richness and movement throughout the diptych.

The textured surfaces respond beautifully to natural and artificial light, revealing nuanced variations of pale blue, ivory, charcoal, taupe, earthy brown, black, and warm ochre throughout the day.

This large contemporary abstract diptych is designed as statement wall art for modern interiors and works beautifully above a sofa, in living rooms, offices, hotel interiors, entryways, or contemporary architectural spaces. Its elegant vertical format and sophisticated palette make it ideal for minimalist, Scandinavian, Japandi, modern, or luxury interiors.

Perfect for collectors searching for neutral abstract diptych, blue gray wall art, textured acrylic artwork, contemporary canvas paintings, architectural abstract art, and elegant modern statement decor.
