A golden oriole perches atop an elegant green mantel clock, its vivid yellow plumage glowing against a muted teal and sand background where traces of aged, peeling paint add quiet texture. Fresh green leaves trail along the shelf and a small brass oil lamp rests nearby. The composition hums with symbolic poetry: the bird unbothered by the hour, nature indifferent to time's measurement. Painted with luminous, precise realism, this still life is both visually beautiful and philosophically resonant.
