Oceanic Geometry: Interwoven Horizons set diptych (each canvas 140x80cm), 2026

Oceanic Geometry is an original contemporary abstract diptych created in 2026. Composed of two large canvases, the artwork explores the subtle relationship between architecture, reflection, and landscape, transforming structural forms into an atmosphere of light, balance, and quiet movement.

Rather than depicting a specific place, the diptych captures the emotional experience of standing before an open horizon where water, sky, and architecture merge into a single visual rhythm. The two panels complement one another while maintaining their own identity, inviting the viewer to experience both separation and connection within the composition.

The artwork was created using multiple layers of professional acrylic paint applied with palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive gestural mark-making. Rich textured surfaces reveal depth, transparency, and subtle tonal transitions that evolve with changing natural light.

A sophisticated palette of ivory white, soft blue, warm beige, taupe, charcoal black, smoky grey, and deep brown creates a refined contemporary aesthetic. Strong vertical and horizontal structures are balanced by atmospheric passages, suggesting reflections on calm water, distant horizons, and modern architectural forms.

Situated between geometric abstraction and atmospheric landscape, reflects my ongoing exploration of space, perception, and tranquility. The restrained composition and elegant color palette allow the diptych to become a timeless statement piece while remaining open to personal interpretation.

Designed for contemporary homes, luxury apartments, boutique hotels, executive offices, and architectural interiors, this diptych integrates beautifully into Scandinavian, minimalist, organic modern, and contemporary living spaces.

A large contemporary abstract diptych exploring the relationship between architecture, reflection, and open horizons. Rich acrylic textures and a refined palette of ivory, blue, beige, taupe, charcoal, and deep brown create a timeless statement artwork for sophisticated contemporary interiors.
