Description
A serene landscape unfolds in a palette of soft pastels. The composition breathes with a quiet, rhythmic harmony. Tall trees with amber and gold foliage stretch across a hazy sky. Their slender branches create elegant curves against the horizon. A gentle mist blankets the middle ground, softening the distant silhouettes of a lush forest.
In the foreground, a small boat glides across still waters. Two figures share a moment of silent contemplation. The water mirrors the surrounding greenery with crystalline precision. Vibrant clusters of purple and red flora anchor the banks. Each leaf and blade of grass is rendered with meticulous care. The artist balances organic shapes with a structured sense of peace. This artwork evokes a feeling of timelessness and spiritual retreat. Light diffuses evenly across the scene, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere. The contrast between the deep greens of the shrubbery and the pale blue of the air adds visual depth. A few birds drift weightlessly through the expanse, completing this poetic vision of nature.
Presentation
Born in 1956 in Itambé, Brazil.
The child Edivaldo already aroused a lot of admiration at the age of seven, coloring his drawings, inspired by everyday scenes of the lake region around São Paulo, with abundant and varied tropical vegetation.
In the simple and colorful houses, live a happy, party-loving and religious people. Edivaldo got married at the age of 20 and had three children. He managed to be hired by a printer to take care of the layout, which allowed him not only to obtain a fixed salary but also to develop his artistic gifts.
He began his professional artistic career in 1995 when he exhibited at the Jacques Ardies Gallery in São Paulo. He participates in the International Naïve Art Competition at the Jeannine Blais Gallery, in Canada, and in Switzerland, where he exhibits in the Pro Arte Kasper Gallery, in addition to integrating the exhibition Brazilian Naïve Masters, at the Naïve Art Museum (MAN) from Figueras, Spain.
