Description
A floral composition blossoms lightly on this white paper. Watercolor guides the eye through a bouquet of sunny and spring tones. Touches of orange, red, and yellow contrast with a deep blue.
The brushstroke is free. It suggests the form without ever confining it. The transparent vase reveals the submerged stems, creating a subtle play of transparency.
The artist favors fluidity. The paint diffuses naturally, bringing an immediate softness to the scene. Each petal seems to breathe thanks to the mastery of washes.
The whole is in the impressionist approach. Light passes through the pigments, revealing an attentive sensitivity to the nuances of nature. The signature rests discreetly at the bottom of the creation.
The final rendering favors the visual sensation and the purity of the colors. The blue of the container harmoniously dialogues with the background and the topmost flowers.

Presentation
An English teacher by profession, Paris-based Isabelle Hirtzig began her career as an artist through the medium of watercolor. Through her light touch of the paintbrush, she is able to capture much emotive feeling. Her work depicts scenes based on subjects as diverse as flowers, Parisian scenes, landscapes, animals and portraiture. Her focus remains on the psyche and art—its sensuality and softness are perfectly accentuated through the watercolor medium.
