Description
A silhouette emerges with modesty from an abstract background. The body is revealed through layers of oil and successive erasures. The skin becomes translucent. It suggests a deep human fragility. The lines are soft. The pictorial treatment suggests a state of suspension.
The contrast establishes with the appearance of a word calligraphed in black line. This raw graphic crosses the composition. It dialogues with paint projections and vertical drips. These colored accents rhythmize the surface.
The work mixes figure and abstraction. The fantastic movement is expressed here through a spiritual dimension. The matter becomes flesh then fades away. The canvas becomes the story of an anonymous presence.
This 2026 creation uses mixed media on canvas. It explores the tension between the silence of the body and the force of the sign. The whole stabilizes on ochre and white tones.

Presentation
“My work is figurative and focused on the body, which I paint as a laying bare of human fragility. The act of painting is for me a mystical and spiritual experience. On abstract acrylic backgrounds, I apply oil glazes worked with a wiping technique, allowing the figure to emerge little by little, in a struggle with uncertainty. The transparency weakens the flesh, revealing its tensions and imperfections, giving birth to veiled bodies, silent necks, anonymous backs. Through this process, I seek a sacred dimension, an escape beyond reality. My canvases then become inner narratives, where the alchemy of painting becomes transmission and resonance with the viewer.”
