On Hansen   New & remarkable Artists

This artwork compellingly juxtaposes two amorphous black forms against a muted gray background, creating a striking visual contrast. The left form appears crumpled and intricate, evoking a sense of chaotic beauty and complexity. Its textured surface invites contemplation, hinting at shadows and depth. In contrast, the right form is more structured, with smoother facets that reflect light subtly, suggesting solidity and weight. Together, these forms explore themes of duality and balance, presenting a harmonious interplay between chaos and order. The minimalist backdrop accentuates their prominence, ensuring the viewer's focus remains on the textural and structural nuances. This captivating study in form and material challenges perceptions, inviting deeper reflection on the nature of transformation and the unexpected beauty within the mundane.

The dichotomy between the immanent existence of representations in consciousness and the transcendent existence of things-in-themselves. The use of photography to explore dimension, scale, space and context creating an sculptural result. On Hansen bears the traces of lived experiences, exploring the possibilities of formal abstraction, seeking an organic experience between space and time through painting and photography, the artworks become conduits for a heightened sensory experience that invites viewers to embark on a journey of introspection, where the unspoken and the unseen come to life.
