Description
This sculpture explores the fragile balance between void and matter. The metal transforms here into an aerial silhouette. The movement is born from a play of precise tensions.
The steel, a rigid material, seems to lighten to defy gravity. The fluid lines evoke the span of a moving cable. The whole rests on a principle of delicate suspension.
The conceptual approach favors geometric purity. Each element dialogues with the surrounding space. The structure evolves according to the viewpoint.
This piece plays with light and air. It captures the suspended moment of a tightrope walker. The composition is articulated around an invisible central axis.
The contrast between the sober tones emphasizes the finesse of the line. The metal is worked to obtain a smooth surface. The object unfolds in a three-dimensional space. The dark base anchors the composition while the top soars upwards.
Presentation
A small world, perched high, hanging by a thread for a time...suspended. A game of chance between air and light, where movement and balance combine in poetic and changing evocations.
Also a painter, designer, and architecture enthusiast, Max-Léo draws his inspiration from his preferred worlds, such as circus arts, the city, living things and natural elements as so many pretexts for emotion and contemplation.
