Description
Inspired by Roman columns, this wooden formwork mold was originally intended to be used to erect structures. Made on a construction site, it would symbolically serve to cast capitals directly in the earth itself. Linked to this unattainable desire to build a dwelling, the wooden mold was made in two parts. Its counterpart was cast and then crushed by a construction crane.
