Description
This circular assemblage captures a hypnotic dance of light and geometry. A deep red core radiates outward through concentric rings of warmth. Precise lines of wire create a shimmering vibration across the surface. This visual energy draws the eye inward toward a silent center.
The creator draws inspiration from the legendary Venezuelan Op art movement. He transforms static materials into a sensory experience of optical movement. Acrylic, aluminum, and plexiglass merge to form a three-dimensional depth that challenges perception. Each metallic thread adds a layer of complexity and rhythmic precision.
The artwork functions as a meditative portal. It balances the intensity of the warm palette with a structured, geometric discipline. This 2022 piece exemplifies a modern approach to kinetic art without the need for physical motion. The white outer frame contains the centrifugal energy, grounding the composition. The result is a sophisticated play of color and transparency that shifts as the viewer moves. It remains a precise exploration of space and atmospheric tranquility.
