Description
A deep cobalt vortex draws the eye inward. This geometric exploration pulses with a rhythmic energy. It captures a sense of infinite depth through precise concentric circles. The composition creates a powerful optical illusion of motion. Light shifts across the surface to evoke a feeling of fluid serenity.
The artist blends tradition with modern precision. He draws inspiration from the Venezuelan Op art movement to challenge human perception. This approach transforms a static surface into a sensory experience. The viewer is invited to question the boundary between the physical and the illusory. It is a masterful study of color and tension.
The construction relies on a complex assemblage of materials. Acrylic paint provides the vivid saturation. Aluminium and plexiglass add structural depth and reflective qualities. Fine wire enhances the meticulous layering of the piece. This combination ensures a crisp, clean finish that emphasizes the curvature of the circular form.
