Biografia
Thierry Corpet, in arte Raymond X è un artista francese, nato nel 1965 che vive e lavora a Corte in Corsica.
"Ispirandosi alla tecnica del “cut up”, inventata da William Burroughs, Thierry Corpet è un artista atipico che crea opere ibride e contemporanee dove si sovrappongono forme geometriche, loghi, sigle, pittogrammi, sagome pixelate, codici a barre, simboleggiando con necessaria leggerezza il mondo di oggi in una forma di poema grafico tra figurazione e astrazione.
Analogamente all'ecologia, i suoi dipinti come le sue sculture testimoniano la somma di beni e cose che accumuliamo, consapevolmente o meno, nel nostro cervello come tanti armadi pieni di obsoleti frammenti di vita.
