L'artiste italien Salvatore Arnone vit et travaille à Paris depuis 2014. Après un début de carrière en tant qu'ingénieur, il s'est orienté vers la création de bijoux et a travaillé pour différentes marques à travers le monde pendant près de 10 ans. Malgré cette immersion dans le domaine créatif, il a ressenti à un moment donné le besoin de se consacrer uniquement à la photographie et de se concentrer sur sa propre vision.
En 2010, il a été publié pour la première fois sur Vanity Fair Italia et, au fil des ans, son travail a été présenté dans plusieurs magazines et expositions dans le monde entier. À partir de l'âge de 25 ans, il a commencé à souffrir d'une perte auditive progressive due à une dégénérescence cellulaire génétique qui l'a contraint à utiliser des appareils auditifs. L'absence d'un sens a profondément affecté sa perception du monde qui l'entoure et ses relations sociales, le poussant à un lent mais constant processus d'auto-isolement qui est bien visible dans toute sa production.
Ses images gravitent principalement autour de la recherche d'une idée personnelle de la beauté qui se fond souvent dans la tristesse et le silence, de l'harmonie dans le chaos, de l'équilibre dans l'imperfection qui représentent le leitmotiv de l'ensemble de son travail. L'auteur se concentre actuellement sur son travail personnel et expérimente également d'autres médias que la photographie.
