Mai-Britt Wolthers

Born in Denmark in 1962, lives and works between Sao Paulo and Geneva. Mai-Britt arrived in Brazil in 1986. As soon as she arrived she fell under the spell of the Atlantic forest. Passionate about painting, she was not satisfied by ambient academism during her studies. Moving to Santos, Sao Paulo, she deepened her knowledge by studying in a workshop located in the Atlantic Forest. Mai-Britt Wolthers works on the relationship between form and color, seeking to define a visual balance. She works in the medium of sculpture, engraving, video. She participates in numerous group and individual exhibitions.
