My name is Géraldine Ela. I have always loved geometry, geometric shapes. I find the idea of repeating patterns very interesting. Then my parents found me books with geometric patterns that I took pleasure in reproducing, looking for how this or that line had been drawn.

Over time, I learned to create my own patterns. I started with black and white, and little by little I integrated color. What I like is studying the perception of a work according to the arrangement of colors. Or starting from the same pattern, add or remove a line. A little thing changes the situation, it's fascinating! I have a multitude of drawings lying dormant in pockets, and which also reflect the evolution of my patterns. I am by nature rather reserved, but it is a real pleasure for me to discover this passion and show people that geometry is not exclusively synonymous with theorems.
