Charlotte Orel is a painter whose works are a translation of the way in which she understands nature, life, the cosmos. To bring perceptions back to matter, she uses natural materials, such as ashes, coal, earth, sand, grape marc, which she collects during her expeditions around the planet.There is a whole work of preparing the raw material which is completely part of the creation of the canvas: it mixes, grinds, filters, before being able to create natural paints. And what is painted on the canvas is channeled, that is to say not of the order of the mind.
