One of the most important and difficult tasks for an artist is to reveal something that we all think we already know. In these situations, Fabrice's models make us rediscover the city, whether it is on a street corner or in a subway station, they are presented to us sometimes as a seductive pin-up, sometimes as a "working girl" determined and sure of herself. Confronted with the collective memory of the city, the icon evolves in an environment that seems designed for her: the inanimate toy is embodied and becomes alive. Contrary to how it might appear, these pictures reveal their deep-meaning when you understand they explore the vision of a harsh and inhuman city, which corresponds to the innumerable representations of New York City.

His work plays on perspectives and attitudes, without any alteration or image editing. These are the issues of his work : showing us his vision of his most emblematic dolls through his installations, with nothing but the camera between the scene and the viewer.
