Biography
Born in Bayonne, Otxo Amade is a French sculptor. He lives and works in Paris.
He studied at Kedge, a business school before dedicating himself to the creation of leather goods for men. After getting settled in Paris, the artist turned towards decoration by creating two mobiles: one which can be hung and a standard one.
Otxo Amade is inspired through the designs of the 50's to create other tailor-made mobiles. Mondrian's work has had a big influence on him, and the artist uses pastel colors from the Scandinavian design, to create harmoniously decorative and refined work.
