Biographie
Selçuk Dizlek (né en 1976 à Schweinfurt) a étudié à l'Académie des beaux-arts de Nuremberg ; il est sculpteur, mais dans ses groupes de travail il brouille très subtilement les frontières entre peinture, objet, relief, sculpture, interaction et art de la lumière. Maintes et maintes fois, la ligne apparaît comme un élément de design unificateur, que ce soit comme un "dessin" sculptural occupant l'espace ou comme des pistes lumineuses lumineuses.
Les sculptures de Dizlek sont géométriquement abstraites/concrètes.
Dans son œuvre, il y a une variété de matériaux : plexiglas, métal, béton, carreaux de céramique et, surtout, la fascination de la "lumière", qui est utilisée comme matériau sculptural. Caissons ou sculptures lumineuses, stèles ou sculptures lumineuses, objets ou reliefs de l'espace colorimétrique constitués de matériaux réfléchissants, fluorescents et translucides comme le Plexiglas sont à l'honneur depuis de nombreuses années.
