Biographie
Les grandes peintures dynamiques de Rachael Dalzell sont inspirées à la fois du monde naturel et des paysages urbains spectaculaires. Allant de Londres dans la Tamise aux montagnes du Ladakh en passant par les côtes, les bois et les fleurs sauvages du Norfolk, elle est inspirée par la façon dont la lumière joue sur notre environnement avec le changement de jour et de saison. Ses peintures sont autant d'humeur que de lieu.
Son utilisation de la couleur et de la gamme de techniques crée des œuvres vibrantes, audacieuses et fraîches avec de nombreux éléments, allant du lavis légèrement flou aux délicats traits fins qui définissent la pièce.
Le travail de Rachael a récemment été acheté pour la nouvelle aile de l’hôpital pour enfants d’Alderhey et est suspendu au siège de la société Clerical Medical Corporation et dans le hall du Medical Council of Ireland. Elle a déjà été nominée pour le prix Boundary Figurative Art Prize et fait partie des collections de nombreux particuliers. Dalzell a étudié les beaux-arts à la Wimbledon School of Art et a continué à développer sa technique de dessin à l'Université Complutense de Madrid dans le cadre du programme européen Erasmus
