Biografía
Eugène Druet (1867-1916) es un fotógrafo de arte francés nacido y fallecido en París. Gracias a sus investigaciones sobre ortocromatismo o impresión de negativos con gelatina-bromuro de plata, inventa el "Proceso Druet" que firma para cada una de sus impresiones con una firma de sello seco. Su técnica requirió varias horas de exposición para un resultado aterciopelado excepcional que, por su incomparable estilo en blanco y negro, combinado con gran precisión, le permitió dar vida a las obras de arte de sus amigos pintor o escultor. Colecciones privadas y Réunion des Musées Nationaux, Francia, J. Paul Getty, Estados Unidos, Colección Chtchoukine, Rusia.
