Franca Ravet was born in 1957 in Arlon, Belgium. After studying "artistic humanities" in Izel, she got a degree of plastic arts from the Superior School of Arts Sant-Luc in Liege.
The artist matured very fast in her work, and developed her own creativity. Her pieces are a combination of abstraction and subtle figuration. The artist gets inspired by the human being and his imprint, his feelings and sensations. transparency plays a main role in her work: it reflects the choice of the artist of erasing or leaving the traces of her creative process.
Her pieces are all delicate and philosophical and they have been exhibited in galleries since 1979. After conquering Europe, specially her native country France, Luxembourg and Portugal, she exhited her work in China as well. The artist has won several awards for her work and her pieces are part of numerous private and public collections.
