Utilizando su iPhone, el artista etíope Girma Berta sintetiza la fotografía callejera con las bellas artes al realizar retratos vibrantes de los habitantes de su ciudad natal, Addis Abeba, en su vida cotidiana, a través de series artísticas coloridas y vibrantes. Nacido en 1990, este joven artista está ganando elogios de la crítica por sus retratos de la clase trabajadora, de quienes recorta las siluetas de sus fotografías y las integra en fondos digitales atrevidos y coloridos. Diseñador gráfico, pintor y fotógrafo autodidacta, los colores son muy importantes en su trabajo.
