As spring blooms we thought we would celebrate this hopeful rebirth with an exhibition entitled Season of the Sun - a collection of work which celebrates the joy of nature. Rachael Dalzell aims to capture the feelings, colors, changing light, while also expressing energy and life’s spontaneity.

The UK-based artist’s pieces are formed through many layers, employing gentle washes, scratches, and splatters of thick paint. Dalzell’s creative process varies from carefully considered marks to the happy accidents of chance. Painting with acrylics on canvas and paper, she chooses her palette instinctively.
