The feminine, plants and animals are the major themes that irrigate Marielle DEGIOANNI's research. They are approached from the point of view of thrust, proliferation and life energy. The budding, the nascent and germinal states question the sexual body, the drive. Throughout the intimate scenes, the hybridity of the bodies and the metaphor participate in the creation of a mythology where purity and strangeness are inseparable.
