Jacques Vanroose is a Belgian artist born in 1943 in Courtrai. Today he lives and works in Bruges. He studied at the Beaux-Arts Academy in Bruges.
It is after his professional career that he turned towards art. He mainly practices bronze and ceramic sculpture in a figurative style where predominates the expression of movement.
