Y Deng, Born in 1976, graduated from Luxun Fine Arts Academy and Tsinghua University Fine Arts Department,

Deng Yu is inspired by a Song dynasty Chinese artist, LIANG Kai, inheriting the simplified portrait style. And he also draws inspiration from German Expressionism and Abstract Expressionism. The creation theme was selected according to the contemporary interests led by Chinese cultural and traditional symbols. By attempting to construct an abstract space with the visual force of color and design, he blended Eastern and Western ways of expression. In addition, DENG Yu is greatly influenced by Chinese calligraphy in terms of the method of practice. Deng Yu is also a contemporary Chinese calligrapher. He mixes the abstract calligraphy concept in his creation. In addition, DENG Yu studies the works and concepts of Franco-Chinese artists ZAO Wou-ki, XIONG Bingbing and LIN Fengmian a lot.

In recent years, Deng Yu has exhibited his works a lot in China and abroad, he has been interviewed by China Daily, he has posed his painting - performance on TIK TOK, in which he receives many "likes". His works are collected by the LIaoning Museum (Shenyang) and by many Asian collectors.
