Biography
Hervé Violette is as refreshing as the colors that he invented back in 1978. At the time we asked him, with POP, to be the mixed-media of his overwhelming emotions in space. He used to deconstruct color photographs to the point of covering everything in Black. It was crazy! Then, after a long analysis, he decided to paint on this intensely obscure background in order to bring out colors that were saturated and overexposed by the energy in store, forgotten during all this time.
His visions mingled and placed themselves at the service of what was going to be a revolution: collage became digital, and photography became a montage. The explosion is so cloudy that it invades the clouds, merges and becomes one with the typographies that it steals from reality.
