Biography
A painter born in Lille, Roche has been painting since 1998. He has experimented with different techniques and styles. His practice is enriched through intentional or intuitive approaches.
Hyperrealism has taught him to be rigorous and accurate in his gestures; the abstraction has given him the detachment that he needed.
It is after having learned from hyperrealism and from abstraction that the painter can have a more contemporary approach.
He chooses and origina for presenting his approachl: the " Sans-Visages" (The Ones with no Faces). Each of his characters takes the spectator in a reflection on the human condition. Dismembered and static, his subjects are a veritable metaphor of the dehumanization into which society has slowly been sinking...
