Biography
Born in 1988, Nicolas "Blvc" Blazicevic is an artist from Nice. Although self-taught, he soon discovered a passion for art. It is in the documentary film "Exit Through the Gift Shop" of the well-known Banksy that he will find his first source of inspiration, by becoming familiar with the stencil technique. It is only later that he finds a particular interest for the masters of the Renaissance and the classicism.
The opportunity to create a universe based on ancient themes associated with more current references. In the evolution of his work, he puts forward the symbols of a consumer society. In an obvious need to stay in step with his time, he plays with the different communication codes. Witness of a generation focused on social networks and in the grip of new technologies.
