Biography

Wenc, an architecture student, is a street artist who lives and works in Lyon. His field of action: the walls on which he tells stories of bodies in black and white. He is in constant communion with the urban. His drawing ideas emerge from the interactions that exist between the city and the inhabitants. If he finds his inspiration on the walls, it is also in painting and photography that he draws his poetic message. Man Ray, Duchamp and also Matisse haunt the artist's aesthetic field. Influenced by cubism and surrealism, the street artist gives a metaphorical meaning to his line-guided works. Each Wenc bubble tells a story, which everyone can interpret as they wish.
