Biography
The painter Alexandre Lamotte began to draw very early, thanks to the comic strip and the tales which rocked his(her,its) childhood. Then, at about 20 years, he(it) begins to paint...
The work always begins with a multitude of sketches: landscapes, directions(fabrications), poses(installations) and feminine silhouettes.
Preparing his(its) support(medium), the wood, he(it) coats him(it) and shapes him(it), while protecting his(its) brown color which is of use to him(her) as base(basis) for the putting in paint(painting).
The drawing of composition, precise, is beforehand congealed in the support(medium). The oil paint(painting) coming to add then of a single fine coat(layer) on the picture(board). The artist likes painting quickly, so that the gesture(movement) which guides its emotion and its energy is identical throughout its realization.
