Studies in painting and drawing at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. Singier and Marcel Gili workshops, from 1968 to 1974.

Teacher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1974 to 2001. Author of the “L'Atelier Vivant" collection, 6 educational books published by Bordas.

The material is not a constraint but an opportunity for the painter. And like color, matter must take shape, must become form. Certain forms resonate within us and come back insistently over sometimes several years. These forms or motifs that are formed in subjectivity lend themselves to variations to constitute, even in abstraction, themes such as here the “writings", the “chromatics, the “harmonics".
