Biography
Pascal Goujon's bio Born in Nice in 1960, pascal Goujon studied in Marseille and then in Paris. Painter, mechanic, architect, he lives, works and pursues a chimerical ideal of studious idleness and serendipity on the Mediterranean coast. Nice 05/15/2013 Dear Madam, Sir, I am writing to you from the beach just in front of the public car park. Sitting on the concrete wall I hear the muffled music of the car radio, the disparate songs from an album from the end of the sixties so listened to that they form a spatial extension of my metabolism. The disjointed sheet of the cover vibrates metallic on the lowest frequencies, the lyrics gain and lose their meaning, strike the chords of beat guitars and drums, like the multiple echoes of all possible stories. The distance that the language initiates opens a wild territory where ideas are born and nothing bothers me in the probability of a misunderstanding. Fundamentally, this song is mine the moment I listen to it, what I project on it is mine without questioning our common sympathy for the devil. In the end, what follows, pictures and words, can be a kind of autobiography, a way of tidying up one's affairs, a courtesy to what is borrowed, cannibalized, the road la night, the touch of tools, Keith's riffs, the smell of gasoline. Pay off his debt. Also, between words and images, the unfolding of stories, for a few more singularities, other superimposed, crossed or perpendicular wefts, of lies and memories, of shared stories. Multiple echoes. Nothing other than to enjoy this meeting around what is common to us. Against all expectations the breeze did not rise. The sea is frozen, without mass, to slip into a color, to sing, to dance. To try again. Friendly thoughts, PG2013
