Painter and restorer of works of art. Trained as a stained glass artist at the V. Bischoff workshop from 1971 to 1974 then patented as a glass painter in 1978. While being a free student at the Decorative Arts in Strasbourg.

In 1980 he perfected his skills with Guy Vetter, Restorer of the Strasbourg museums, in the restoration of polychrome paintings, frescoes and sculpture. He became his assistant in 1982.

In the 80s and 90s he used the airbrush for his works, which he abandoned to work with oils, gouache and egg paint. Among his favorite themes: The fantastic. His style: visionary painting, in the vein of Gustave Moreau, with a contemporary vision.

"For me, creation is never contemporary, it is on the contrary timeless. An artist is not of his time, he is ahead of it, which is why" he disturbs "and is often not recognized. that later. Creation is in the gaze that we wear. "

"Crazy talent in every sense of the word; by the abundance of themes and by the brilliant realization." (G. Andrès, L'Alsace)
