Biography
Born in 1957 in Munich, he lives and works in Brussels and Paris.
Uses panoramic images (as opposed to the monofocal pictures) to broaden the photographic perspective. It is this process that allows the integration of any element by a centrifugal movement which gives the image an architectural dimension and not that of a "window" .
The image, then, becomes multifocal (several lines of light and several points of view) lively, and is proposing the coexistence of paradoxes and perspectives never highlighted on the same plane. Thus, it is our very system of thought construction that is in doubt, destabilized, disoriented.
Kasimir , a visionary artist, has had an international career and created works for both public (Arc de Triomphe , Metro station in Brussels , public square in Amsterdam...) and private spaces.
